The route

Ride the canal to Tempe Town Lake

23.8 miles there and back, mostly on the Arizona Canal path. Flat, scenic and easy on an e-bike, with a lake view at the turnaround.

Canal path to the Biltmore

From Granada Park, take the canal path toward 24th St (cross carefully), then ride through the Biltmore past the golf course, keeping left on the canal path.

Across 32nd St and 40th St

Cross 32nd St, then continue to 40th St & Camelback and cross both.

On toward Papago Park

Ride past G.R. Herberger Park. At the 64th St crosswalk, go right and rejoin the bike path heading south toward Papago Park, about 2 miles.

Over Tempe Town Lake

Continue to Mill Ave and take the bridge across the lake. Enjoy Tempe Beach Park, then return the same way.
