Foothills Aquatic Center E-Bike Ride

• Start out at the Foothills Aquatic Center at 57th avenue and Union Hills Dr. in Glendale.  

• This ride takes north to Happy Valley and then heads south via the New River Trail down to Rio Vista Park!

• This ride is about can be 16-27 miles round trip! Which makes for a great two-hour or 4 hour ride on Glendales’ well maintained bike paths.

16 Mile Route

• This route starts you off at the Foothills Aquatic Center heading SouthWest. 
• Keep on cruising until you reach Rio Vista Park.
• Cross the Bridge and take a right to head North on the New River Trail up to just North of 75th and Deer Valley. 
• Head East on Hillcrest Blvd. and Turn Right On 71st Ave.
• Cross Deer Valley & Stay on 71st Ave/Arrowhead Loop.
• Cross 67th Ave & Arrowhead Loop.
• Turn Right on 63rd Ave & Cross the Bridge over the 101 Freeway. 
• Stay on 63rd Avenue all the way to Union Hills Dr.
• Turn Left and Head East on Union Hills Dr, Rejoining with the Skunk Creek Trail
• Stay on the Trail until you arrive back to the Foothills Aquatic Center

27 Mile Route

• This route starts you off at the Foothills Aquatic Center heading SouthWest. 
• Keep on cruising until you reach Rio Vista Park.
• Cross the Bridge and take a left, heading south on the New River Trail for 5.8 Miles until you reach Northern Ave.
• Carefully Exit the New River Trail and Turn Left on Northern Ave. You will arrive at PARK WEST.
• Get back on the New River Trail and Head North back towards where you came from.
• Cruise South on the New River Trail for 11 Miles.
• Head East on Hillcrest Blvd. and Turn Right On 71st Ave.
• Cross Deer Valley & Stay on 71st Ave/Arrowhead Loop.
• Cross 67th Ave & Arrowhead Loop.
• Turn Right on 63rd Ave & Cross the Bridge over the 101 Freeway. 
• Stay on 63rd Avenue all the way to Union Hills Dr.
• Turn Left and Head East on Union Hills Ave, Rejoining with the Skunk Creek Trail
• Stay on the Trail until you arrive back to the Foothills Aquatic Center
